The San Diego Sports Medicine Foundation was founded in 2002 to provide a medical safety net for injured youth with limited financial means in order to return them back to health, sports and life. SDSMF has seen hundreds of kids for free – including over 50 MRI exams and approximately 30 surgeries.

SDSMF's signature fundraiser, Taste at the Cove, is a five star event that features food from San Diego's top-rated restaurants, a New York Style Runway Fashion Show, two local honorees (one in the medical field and one professional athlete) as well as silent and live auctions.

More than 800 people attended last year's event raising $150,000, double the amount from 2002!
